We recently expanded into Germany and we are now hiring a part-time Sales Development Representative. Your job is to find German companies that would be a good match for HR-ON’s software solutions for recruitment and core HR, start the conversation, and book the meeting for sales. We don’t know everything yet, and you will be part of shaping the future strategy of our German market expansion.
In the office you'll spend the most of your time with the Sales Development team: you, one German-speaking SDR and two colleagues covering Denmark. You'll also join the German Squad, consisting of six German-speaking colleagues across sales, marketing and customer success whose job is to make this market work.
With value based self-management at the core of how we work at HR-ON, you are responsible to your team as we don’t have the typical hierarchy. That means great freedom and great responsibility.
- Calling and emailing companies across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in German
- Booking meetings for our sales team to close
- Following up on leads from campaigns, webinars and events
- Trying different messages and target groups, and keeping track of what actually works
- Keeping the CRM in a state where a colleague can pick up your conversation
This is an entry level position, so what matters more for this role than your previous experience is that you can say yes to the following statements:
- I can hold a conversation with someone who wasn't expecting to hear from me, and I don't take a no personally
- I keep asking questions until I understand, and I can explain something complicated back in the other person's words rather than my own
- I don't need a manager checking up on me to deliver, and when I'm stuck, I ask instead of waiting
- I get better results with a team around me, and I keep working on getting better at what I do
- I speak and write German fluently
- A culture and environment that values output and impact, no matter the title or seniority. That means you can gain experience with tasks and take on responsibilities that are typically reserved for leadership in traditional organisations.
- A thorough onboarding program and in-house sales training to give you the skills you need to thrive in your role
- Become part of a team where we take our work seriously while still having fun.
- Flexible working hours
- Value-based self-management where mutual trust and transparency come first.
Start date: as soon as possible
20 to 25 hours a week, spread how you like, as long as a decent share lands inside German office hours. The job is based in Odense, and we'd like you here at least two days a week. Exact days are agreed with your team.
So you know what to expect when you apply:
- Three short questions and your CV instead of a cover letter
- A 30-minute screening call.
- An interview with the team in Odense, including a 20-minute case you receive in advance
- A decision within a week, and an answer to every candidate either way
We read applications as they arrive, so send yours when it is ready rather than waiting for a deadline, and we get back to every single candidate.
